FREE CONSULT
Let’s see if this makes sense — before anything else does.
A short, no-obligation conversation about where your team stands with AI today, and whether training, governance or a consulting project would actually help. No slides, no pitch.
WHAT TO EXPECT
What this call is
I keep this part simple on purpose. Here’s exactly what happens, and what doesn’t.
What we’ll cover
I’ll ask how your team is using AI today, if at all, and what’s prompting you to look into this now. You’ll get a sense of how I work and whether the fit feels right.
What it isn’t
This isn’t a sales pitch, and I won’t ask you to commit to anything on the call. If it’s not a fit, I’ll say so — that’s a perfectly good outcome for both of us.
How long it takes
Usually 15 to 20 minutes. Enough time to cover the basics without taking up your whole afternoon.
WHO THIS IS FOR
You’re probably a good fit if…
- You’re a business owner or leader curious about AI but not sure where to start
- Your team is already using tools like Copilot or ChatGPT informally, without much structure behind it
- You need a governance policy in place before AI use gets ahead of you
- You want a second opinion before committing to training somewhere else

Not ready to book a call?
Email is fine too — dave@affdes.com.
I’m based in High River, Alberta, and work with organizations in person across Alberta, or remotely anywhere in Canada.
AFTER THIS CALL
Where this goes from here
This call is step one. Here’s the full path, so there are no surprises later.
01
Free consult
A no-commitment conversation to talk through where your organization is with AI today, and whether this is a good fit — for you and for me.
02
Onboarding or a written scope
For training, I spend four to five hours learning your current AI use, your goals and how your teams work, before the first session is built. For governance or a consulting project, you get a written scope first, so you know exactly what’s included before any work starts.
03
Ongoing work
Monthly training sessions, governance setup and review, or a scoped consulting project, depending on what we agreed. Each one is built from what we learned in onboarding or scoping.
COMMON QUESTIONS
A few things people usually ask
No. The consult is free. You only pay once we agree on a next step, whether that’s paid onboarding or a scoped project, and that’s a separate decision you make after this call.
Then I’ll tell you directly, and point you elsewhere if I can. Not every organization needs what I offer, and pretending otherwise doesn’t help either of us.
No. Just show up ready to talk honestly about where things stand today.
If it makes sense to move forward, the next step depends on the work. For training, it’s paid onboarding, where the real discovery happens. For governance or a consulting project, it’s a written scope you approve before anything starts.
No pressure, no pitch. Just a conversation.
If you’ve read this far, you probably already know whether it’s worth 20 minutes.
